Plans & billing

Read up to two mailboxes for free. Add a card to send mail and connect more, at $1/month per account, with a 30-day free trial.

Mailhopper has a free tier and a simple paid plan.

Free

Connect up to two mailboxes and read them in one unified inbox, at no cost. No card required.

Paid

$1.00 / month per connected account, with a 30-day free trial. Sending mail and connecting a third mailbox are on the paid plan.

The free tier

Sign up and connect up to two mailboxes without a card. You get the full reading side of Mailhopper: the unified inbox, search, folders, threaded conversations, and two-way read sync. You can read and organize your mail: archive, mark read, block a sender, tidy folders. Sending is the one thing held for the paid plan.

What a card unlocks

Add a card under Settings → Billing to:

Send mail

Compose, reply, forward, schedule, and undo sends across every connected account.

Connect more

Add a third mailbox and beyond. There's no upper limit.

Adding a card starts a 30-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial, and it converts to a paid subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel first.

Pricing

$1.00 / month per connected account. Two accounts is $2/month, three is $3/month, and so on. The count updates automatically as you connect or remove accounts.

Managing billing

Everything is under Settings → Billing:

Card on file

See your card's brand, last four digits, and expiry. Add or replace it anytime.

Status & dates

Trial end, next renewal, or scheduled cancellation date.

Invoices

Your recent invoices, read live from Stripe.

Cancel

Cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the current period.

If you have no accounts connected

If your subscription has zero connected accounts, Mailhopper won't bill you: the plan is set to lapse for free at the end of the trial or period instead of charging. Connect an account again and billing resumes.

Security

Card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure fields and never reach Mailhopper's servers. Mailhopper stores only a reference to your Stripe customer, not your card number.

Closing your account

To close your whole Mailhopper account, use Settings → Delete account. This removes your Mailhopper login and all synced data and cancels billing. Your email mailboxes are never touched. If you're on a paid plan, the close is scheduled for the end of your current period, and you can undo it with Keep my account until then.
